On February 28th, 2026, the Brethren, families, and friends of Long Beach Lodge No. 327 gathered in fellowship, unity, and purpose.

And then Brother Romel “Dave” Romero went to work!

In a stunning display of discipline, endurance, and heart, Brother Dave flipped a 300-pound tire 212 times in 60 minutes — far exceeding the original goal.

What was once a challenge of 60 flips became a living demonstration of what it truly means to Live Beyond Average.

This wasn’t just strength.
It was commitment.
It was charity in motion.
It was Masonry made visible.

• To the coordinating team whose planning and precision made this day seamless.

THE MISSION CONTINUES — $50,000 FOR THE MASONIC HOMES

This event was held to raise $50,000 for the Masonic Homes of California — an institution that embodies the very heart of our Craft: relief, compassion, and lifelong care.

While today’s challenge is complete, the fundraiser is not.

We are still climbing toward that $50,000 goal.

If you have not yet contributed — or if the event inspired you to give a little more — we invite you to please do so. Every donation, at every level, moves us closer to fulfilling our obligation to care for our Masonic family.

Donation Levels

• Bronze — $50 (Individual Donation)
• Silver — $150 (Couple Donation)
• Gold — $500 (Family Donation)
• Platinum — $1,000 (Lodge or Group Donation)

All contributions serve as charitable donations and will be directed entirely to the Masonic Homes of California.

A FINAL WORD

Feburary 28th was not about a tire.

It was about proving that service requires effort.
That charity demands action.
And that when Masons unite behind a cause, we do not settle for average.
