<h3>The first-ever Livability Summit is designed to inspire regional unity through engaging dialogue, inspirational perspectives, and collaborative idea-generation. </h3>The Livability Summit is a community event for everyone where ideas are shared, voices heard, and solutions hatched. If you care about improving the health, wellbeing, and inclusivity of our communities, your voice belongs in these important conversations. Together, we’ll take a deeper look at Valley Vision’s latest research findings and participate in a series of conversations around how we come together to improve quality of life for all residents.Building off of valuable baseline data that will inform open, honest conversations, the Livability Summit provides the space to align goals and vision, build trust across diverse groups, and establish a common foundation for action. Your voice belongs. Your voice makes change.<h2>The day will include:</h2><ul><ul><li>A regional wellness check presented through Valley Vision’s latest research findings from The Livability Poll to help us understand the most pressing issues facing our region</li><li>A series of collaborative, action-oriented discussions about how we make change as a collective community</li><li>Group conversations to share views, ideas, and input about priorities and unity</li><li>A discussion featuring young adults who will share their unique perspectives on what livability means for the next generation and what priorities matter to them most</li><li>Featured guest speaker discussions on how to unite around solutions to some of our toughest, most complex issues like equitable economies, affordable housing, and homelessness.</li><li>Interactive activities, community paint-by-numbers mural painting, and live entertainment</li></ul></ul><h2>Schedule:</h2>8:00 a.m. Registration, networking &amp; community mural painting 9:00 a.m. 	Event BeginsPresentation of The Livability Poll findings Community Spotlight: North Sacramento's perspective on livability A Livable Future: What livability means to the next generation NoonLunchAlicia John-Baptiste, CEO of Spur talks about equitable communitiesA regional action plan for homelessnessAffordable housing and equitable neighborhoods3:00 p.m. 	Event Concludes The Livability Summit is an in-person event. Lunch and refreshments are included. Tickets are $75 for general admission. Courtesy tickets are available upon request for those who may not have the means to purchase a ticket. Ticket Information - THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUTValley Vision recognizes that not everyone has the means to purchase a ticket and we don’t want that to get in the way. It is important to us that anyone who wishes to participate is able to attend regardless of whether they have the means to pay the ticket price. Once our office has received payment a ticket will be sent to your email within 2-3 business days. <h3>Sponsor or request community tickets </h3><ol><li>Sponsor a Ticket If you would like to sponsor a community ticket, it will be donated to someone who would otherwise be unable to afford the price of admission. Ticket Sponsors will be recognized in the event program and your generosity will help broaden ideas and views, expand inclusivity and enrich the event experience for us all. </li><li>Request a Ticket A ticket to the Livability Summit is available at no cost upon request. Donated tickets are limited to one per person and will be awarded on a first request basis.
