Join us for a special night with LITURGY, the devotional and transcendent black metal of artist Haela Ravenna Hunt-Hendrix, distilled into an intimate solo performance. Countering the genre’s nihilistic leanings, Liturgy seeks truth, affirmation, and beauty through searing, intricate guitar work, blissful shrieks, choral vocals, acoustic passages, and meditative drone.
With support from experimental operatic vocalist House Red (Reba Mitchell), the mournful drone of Bicentennial Memorial Accordion Choir, and handmade soundings from artist and FR MoCA curator Harry Gould Harvey IV.
