Kick-off the summer fun as we gather for a day of learning and laughter indoors AND outdoors! Dive into the magic of play, where children's curiosity thrives and bonds are strengthened.

Get ready to groove with our dancers, meet some new friends, and capture the endless photo-ops! Sit back and enjoy the entertainment as we celebrate the spirit of summer together.

But that's not all! We've got a lineup of exciting activities and surprises in store for you, including games, crafts, and more to keep the whole family engaged and entertained. This event will feature activities during time slots, which means all families should arrive early to truly feel the summer fun!

Children learn best through first-hand experiences—play motivates, stimulates, and supports children in their development of skills, concepts, language building, communication skills, and concentration. During play, children use all of their senses, must convey their thoughts and emotions, explore their environment, and connect what they already know with new knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

In the spirit of inclusivity, registration and confirmation are required to attend this exclusive summer extravaganza. We want to ensure there's plenty of space for all our Latched support families to join in the fun!

Remember, entry to the event will close at 11:15 a.m., so be sure to arrive before 11 a.m. for sign-in.

Frequently asked questions

Who can attend this social?

Most appropriate for parents/guardians with children aged 0-36 mos old. The education from this social is catered to parents with a child under the age of 36 mo. We ask for a maximum of 2 adults per child.

Can I bring a grandparent/friend?

To keep this social more intimate and comfortable for our families, we ask that only 1-2 parents or guardians attend per child. If you want to bring someone who is not a biological parent/guardian please contact our offices.

What information do I need to provide to attend this social?

CONFIRMATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND. Name, email, & phone number are required so that we can contact you. Additional info is required to attend & must be filled out prior to attending. This will assist in understanding your eligibility & getting you set up in our material assistance program.

What type of materials are available for registered attendees?

Latched Support provides 1 free pack of diapers, baby wipes, information packets, & goodie bag per family. Each education topic covered in this social has a goodie-bag with essentials from that topic.

What if I have an older child?

If your child is older than 36 mos, education & resources may not be appropriate for them. We ask to keep the event to children under 36 mos, if you have a child older than that, please contact our offices prior to attending.

Can I arrive after scheduled start time?

Admittance to any educational event, social, or workshop closes 15 minutes after scheduled start time. This is to ensure that everyone receives the full education & activities. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, we ask that you contact our offices to reschedule or discuss other events.

Do I have to pay for anything/what are the requirements?

ALL events, workshops, &socials hosted by Latched Support are always free. There is no income requirement. The only requirement is that you are pregnant or a parent of a child under the age of 36 months & reside in a Texas area code.

How do I get my free materials?

We ask that all attendees stay through the entirety of the social in order to receive materials. All materials are free to pick up from a Latched Support location.

What if I do not confirm my tickets/how many will be attending with me?

In order to ensure that every family can attend, we require ticket confirmation with our Latched Staff. If we reach out to you with no answer, we may have to remove your tickets. If you have not confirmed your tickets prior to the week of the event, please call our offices.
