Susan began her professional comedy career in 1983 and at present is still making people laugh. Her career has taken her all over the country playing all the comedy clubs of the 1980s & '90s. She's appeared on all the Network & Cable Comedy channels. In 2015 Rice was voted by her peers and patrons of comedy The Willamette Weekly's "Portland's Funniest Person". She recently released a Don't Tell Comedy special, "Funny Old Bag". At 70, Susan Rice has found a broader range of audience than she remembers ever having as a young comedian. She appeals to both young and old. Reminding everyone that humor has no age limit and laughter is the one human emotion that heals.
