This engaging read eloquently weaves together Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants. It is a nonfiction book about the role of Indigenous knowledge as an alternative or complementary approach to Western mainstream scientific methodologies.

This textural analysis brings cohesion and intention to the reading experience. We invite you to consider how we can bring the wisdom of Braiding Sweetgrass into our culture.

Concepts for exploration:

  • How we see ourselves and others
  • Reciprocity and gifting
  • Mutual flourishing
  • Nature (is it property or a gift or ?)
  • Learning the language of animacy or how we listen to nature and nature listens to us
  • How small rituals might root us and balance our lives
  • Our rights & responsibilities in nature & society
  • Balancing intuition and information
  • and so much more!

The ticket price speaks to a reciprocity relationship of energy and designed facilitation that has gone into hosting this study group with a proposed value recieved for participating. However, we do not want for there to be monetary limitations placed on this experience.
