About this event

Join the Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health Research, a research center within the Institute for Community Health, for our in-person annual event. Come and learn from researchers and community experts, strategize and shape our Center's future work to influence policy and practice.


Doors will open at 3:00pm.

Programming will run 3:30-5:00pm, and a post-event networking until 6:00pm.


What to expect on May 9th:

  • Hear from inspiring speakers including Cristina Aguilera from the MA Office for Refugees and Immigrants (ORI), Luisa Raleza from the Institute for Community Health, Vetto Casado from The Boston Foundation, Pastor “Keke” Dieufort Fleurissaint from True Alliance Center, and Liz Sweet from MIRA Coalition.
  • Learn from LZC researchers, partners, and immigrant community leaders about cutting edge research and action on immigrant health, including the importance of narrative change across all of our work.
  • Network, eat and drink with us, and engage in meaningful dialogue to advance immigrant health and equity in Massachusetts and beyond.
