About this event

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll combine traditional block printing with the unique qualities of Risograph printing to create 5 by 7 prints. First, learn the basics of carving and printing your own blocks, creating bold, graphic traditional relief print edition, and explore how to risofy and layer your designs with Risograph techniques to add Riso spot colors and Riso textures, taking full advantage of the analog printing process. Artists, printmakers, designers, and anyone interested in combining traditional block printing with the distinctive style of Risograph are encouraged to attend.

Please note: Masking is now encouraged, but optional in the studio space. Individuals who feel uncomfortable using the space with others unmasked, whether for health or any other reason, are welcome to request mask wearing while they are using the studio space.
