Lino Printmaking Workshop

Join us for a hands-on lino printmaking event at the museum! This creative workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone interested in exploring the art of printmaking.


Date: Saturday, May 2nd

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 PM

Location: Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture

6500 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL 60629


During this session, participants will learn the basics of lino printing, including carving techniques and how to create and print their own designs. All materials will be provided. Participants will also have the opportunity to view a selection of other prints from the museum’s art collection.


Important: This workshop involves the use of sharp tools. A minimum age of 13 is required to participate.

Cost: $10 per participant

What’s included:

  • All printmaking materials and tools
  • Guided instruction from workshop leaders
  • Light refreshments

Instructor: Led by guest artist Katie Lopez-Tellez


Free public parking is available in front of, beside, and behind the museum.

Come ready to get creative and leave with your own handmade prints!
