The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college in Seattle University. Our emphasis is on academic excellence, service to the community, and global engagement.Grounded in the Catholic-Jesuit intellectual tradition and respectful of its vision of the human person, faculty educate students for leadership, spiritual growth, responsible citizenship, and service. In the curricula for the core program and major areas of study is a focus on developing the whole person: the intellect, the imagination, the aesthetic sense, the capacity for ethical reflection, critical thinking, and the skills of analysis and communication.

LinkUp is the signature mentoring and networking event for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Designed to be casual, informal and approachable, this annual event encourages students majoring in social sciences and humanities to explore career pathways and learn from alumni and friends of the College. We are excited to announce that this will be an in person event! We will be following all Seattle U COVID-19 protocols in place at the time of the event. Learn more here: https://www.seattleu.edu/coronavirus/ More information will be provided on the <a href="https://www.seattleu.edu/artsci/professional-formation/events/linkup/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">LinkUp website</a> and we will be in contact as we get closer to the event.Please note that students and mentors have different arrival times. <ul><li>Students attend from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  </li><li>Mentors attend from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.</li></ul>LinkUp is a virtual, low-key, networking event that connects current Arts &amp; Sciences (A&amp;S) students with A&amp;S alumni and friends of the College. This event will have several rounds of connections. During the first round, students and mentors will be paired based on interests indicated in the registration form. After the first round of connections, students will have a chance to connect with mentors of their choice. Prior to the networking rounds, students will participate in a short workshop where they learn the basics of networking, practice introducing themselves, and how to request future informational conversations from professional mentors. Students receive answers to professional and personal questions and concerns from people who have similar degrees and interests. Mentors benefit by helping students navigate the road ahead - making an impact.
