San Diego Regional EDC mobilizes business, government and civic leaders around an inclusive economic development strategy in order to connect data to decision making, maximize regional prosperity, enhance global competitiveness, and position San Diego effectively for investment and talent.

San Diego Regional EDC

Link2Downtown Startups & Tech provides software engineering students like you with the opportunity to engage with the growing startup & tech sector in Downtown San Diego. 
As a participant, you will be provided free roundtrip transportation to and from campus to Downtown San Diego. On the tour, you will meet with four rapidly growing San Diego startups and get to see first hand the creative workspaces they have established for their employees. The tour will conclude with a networking reception with free food and drinks attended by additional companies looking to recruit new talent. 
This year both UC San Diego and SDSU students will participate in the event and will have the opportunity to meet at the Happy Hour Reception.
 
 
Pick up locations SDSU - Registered students to meet in front of Viejas Arena no later than 12:45pm
UC San Diego -  Registered Students to meet behind the Student Services Center at UCSD Town Square on Rupertus Lane.
 
April 15th, 12:30-6:30pm
12:45 Meet at pick up location (see below)
1:00 Buses will leave from both UC San Diego & SDSU and head to downtown San Diego
1:30-5:00 Company Tours
5:00-6:00 Happy Hour Reception 
6:00 Buses leave to return students to UC San Diego & SDSU by 6:30
