To write a good limerick ain’t hard

Even if you’re not a bard;

So we will have fun

And meet everyone

…And what should the last line be???

Limericks are a delightful form of poetry and familiar to many people. Of course they’re sometimes a little off-color, but we’ll be looking at ones that are just fun, learning what the patterns and techniques are. Then we’ll try our hand at writing some….like maybe the last line of the one above….?

Linda Saarnijoki has lived full time in Weston for 10 years after retiring from her career as a high school English teacher. She has taught several Weston Pop Up classes on writing, short stories, and poetry and loves the opportunity to explore different kinds of writing.
