Downtown Lima, Inc. in conjunction with the Lima/Allen County CVB will present the 10th Anniversary Lima Lantern Tours of Downtown Lima.  The tours will be Friday & Saturday, October 6-7, 2017 and Thursday, Friday & Saturday, October 12-13-14, 2017!  For October 6-7: As a special treat and 10th Anniversary Special, James A. Willis and the Ghosts of Ohio members will be leading ghost hunts in three Downtown Lima Buildings on October 6-7, 2017!   This is your chance to experience a true paranormal investigation in Downtown Lima.  Guests will travel by the RTA Trolley to three separate buildings and be lead on a paranormal exploration by Ghosts of Ohio members.  The Ghost Hunt will begin at 6:30pm at the Wingate By Wyndham and all guests will return for a small reception and revealing at the end of the evening.  Expect tours to last up to 4 hours.   Tickets for the Special 10th Anniversary Tours are $50 per person and will include refreshments and transportation to each venue.   Jim always has great stories, captive audiences and special treats JUST for the Lima crowd! We are so grateful for Jim and the Ghosts of Ohio's return to Lima for this special event! Don't miss your chance to participate in the first ever roving Ghost Tour in the State of Ohio.
For October 12-14: Trolley tours and walking tours will begin at the Wingate By Windham PROMPTLY at 6:30pm and 7:30pm respectively all three evenings! 
It has been said that for every person living, there are 30 ghosts. Some are revealed to us. 
YOU may be walking with a ghost... Lima has a unique and sordid history all its own. From historic gangster shootouts that Hollywood loves to make movies about to documented downtown haunts and spooky local legends. You'll hear them all here. What you believe to be true is up to you... *This tour is rated PG-13 and is not intended for young children. Tours last approximately 2 hrs and 30 minutes but could vary up to 3 hours, please allow at approximately 3 hours from arrival and dress for the weather as tours will occur rain** or shine.
**The tours will only be canceled if the weather becomes hazardous for both you (our guests) and our guides. **PLEASE NOTE: The tours will consist of entering historic buildings that may have limited handicap access. Most, if not all, building tours will require climbing stairs.
