Learn the basics of lightweight backpacking on Tuesday, July 18th, from 6:30-7:30pm at prAna Portland, 635 NW 23rd Ave. In this class, you will learn the fundamental skills necessary to plan and execute a successful lightweight backpacking trip. The course will cover topics such as gear selection, food and water planning, navigation, safety, and Leave No Trace principles. You will also learn how to pack your backpack efficiently, reducing unnecessary weight and maximizing comfort. The course is ideal for beginners or experienced hikers looking to transition to lightweight backpacking.This is a donation-based class with a suggested donation of $5 on-site. Proceeds will support <a href="https://rosehaven.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a>a local non-profit organization. Following the class, participants will enjoy 30% off a same day in-store purchase. Space is limited. Advance registration is required. RSVP today!
