Lighting Workshop

Cleveland Print Room

Join Aja Joi Grant for this one-day workshop to learn how studio lighting can be a way to bring light-writing to life.

Studio lighting is another way to bring light-writing to life. In photography, we create shapes and patterns with light & shadow to elevate our storytelling. In this workshop, we go over the basics of studio lighting. Participants will build simple set-ups for an at-home practice as well as explore complex set-ups common in creative and professional portraiture situations.Bring your own camera, or borrow one of ours. All skill levels are welcome. Basic camera knowledge is recommended.
