This hands-on workshop will teach you how to overcome bad lighting in the outdoors so that you can create portraits with beautiful lighting.

Whether you need to battle mid-day sun, overcome unwanted highlights and shadows, or want to inject some drama into your outdoor portraiture, this course will lead the way. This hands-on, three-hour workshop will teach you how to overcome bad lighting in a variety of outdoor situations so that you can create portraits with beautiful lighting. We will learn techniques for proper use use of reflectors, scrims, and speed lights in outdoor settings. You will need to bring your camera and, if you have one, a speed light and trigger for off-camera use. If you don’t have a speed light, you’ll still be able to explore various modifiers and how they work.
