Lifts - Brewery Corner

Lifts are a five-piece experimental/rock band from Dublin. Electronically augmented violins, jazz drumming, passionate vocals, expressive piano, and intricate guitarwork are all interwoven in Lifts' tightly constructed songs, which take as much inspiration from jazz and contemporary classical music as they do from folk song and post-punk.

The Fathoming is the moniker for Dublin based singer-songwriter, Saoirse Gaynor. Beautifully blending folk, blues and alt-rock, her music evokes powerful emotions in it’s listeners with a simple yet effective arrangement of an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar and mandolin played by Fionn Feeley (Slightly Dishevelled) and viola played by Clara Webster (Lifts, Anenome). With influences such as Adrienne Lenker, Villagers and Lomelda, The Fathoming’s striking storytelling has a raw intensity which can only be described as inspired.
