Artist, <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://www.facebook.com/libbyjohnsonmusic" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Libby Johnson</A>, a familiar name as founding member of indie folk outfit “22 Brides”, is a singer songwriter whose folk/Americana roots are showcased in impeccable tunefulness, gorgeous melodies and a moving live presentation. In his review of Perfect View, Mark Tucker, “Folk & Acoustic Music Exchange” (FAME) writes, “This is one beautiful CD.” Comparing Johnson as “a cross of Mary Fahl, Bonnie Raitt, and Janis Ian, a quietly engrossing woman crafting songs delicate and enfolding, works grounded in the everyday but gently transcendent… Libby Johnson feels everything she writes, plays, and sings, feels it genuinely, no exaggerations, no playing to the times and masses, not a shred of compromise.” Libby's extensive songwriting career has led to a many of her songs featured in films and commercial works, including the 2006 feature film "Trust the Man" starring David Duchovny, Billy Crudup, Julianne Moore and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

 Rachel Zamstein, SESAC Recording Artist, will be opening for Libby to start off the evening. Rachel was featured on "America's Got Talent" Season 6. As a skilled and diverse songwriter and multi-instrumentalist she co-produced and wrote every song on first Album, "Bouquet", and was nominated for two Asbury Park Music Awards - Best Female Solo and Best Female Vocal. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to see these indie artists in our intimate historic setting. This concert is a part of The Packing House Acoustic Artist Series hosted by the Friends of The Mill Works. Cabaret and theater seating available. Snacks and soft drinks available.
