Before we can build power as a community, we first, have to come together.Libations &amp; Liberation is the official pre-convening event for the Boots on the Ground Convening (#BOTGCON), a two-day gathering in downtown Shreveport centered on one question: How do we really win? For the vote. For the block. For the people. This event is open to the public. RSVP is required.That question is the theme for the night too. This is a social hour for creators, movement makers, and everyone in between. As the news gets heavier and the stakes get higher, we're making space to ground ourselves in each other first: to eat together, to meet the people we'll be working alongside, and to remember why we do this.Doors open at 6pm. Dinner and mocktails will be served. Dinner is provided by Uneeda Chef - Greta Taylor of the community favorite, Taylor's Catering. The event is free.
