Biml (Business Intelligence Markup Language) helps you create powerful Data Warehouse frameworks using SSIS in just days instead of months.

This full-day workshop will give you a solid understanding of Biml and how you can use it to improve your own work day: From the basics of Biml, to generating hundreds of SSIS packages using BimlScript, to creating metadata-driven frameworks for automating Data Warehouse development. Along the way, you will learn about best practices, coding techniques and how you can gradually adopt Biml in existing small or large projects.

Cathrine Wilhelmsen is a Norwegian who loves teaching and sharing knowledge. She works as a consultant, technical architect and developer, focusing on Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects. Her core skills are ETL, SSIS, Biml and T-SQL development, but she enjoys everything from programming to data visualization. Outside of work she's active in the SQL Server and PASS communities as a Microsoft Data Platform MVP, BimlHero Certified Expert, author, speaker, blogger, organizer and chronic volunteer.
