But when we break the task down and chip at it in community, we make it conquerable. </p><p>Meet Level Up EX.</p><p></p><h3>What is Level Up EX?</h3><p>You can think of Level Up EX as a virtual mastermind group. The goal is for each participant to work on their own Employee Experience (EX) project and get feedback from peers and a talent.imperative coach. In addition, the group will read “The Power of Moments” and reflect on how the concepts of “elevation”, “insight”, “pride”, and “connection” might get integrated into their employee experience practice.   </p><h3></h3><h3>What’s included?</h3><p>Level Up EX includes four virtual sessions as well as preparation prompts. We will also send you a welcome package that includes “The Power of Moments” book.</p><p></p><h3>What’s the time commitment?</h3><p>We meet virtually from 4-5:30pm CST on four Wednesdays. You would want to budget approximately an additional hour per week for reading, reflection, and preparation for the following week’s session.</p><p></p><h3> Who will participate?</h3><p>Level Up EX is intended for internal professionals and leaders who are working on Employee Experience projects. We will limit participation to eight peers so two people per session will have sufficient time to discuss their project. </p><p></p><h3>When do we meet?</h3><p>Our  Level Up EX group will meet virtually from 4-5:30pm CST on October 07, 14, 21, 28. </p><p></p><h3>Who will facilitate Level Up EX?</h3><p>Hi, I’m <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/ndessain/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Nicole Dessain</a>, the founder of<a href="https://www.talentimperative.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> talent.imperative</a> and the <a href="https://www.hrhackathonalliance.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HR.Hackathon Alliance</a>.</p><p>I am a former head of talent strategies and Top 5 management consulting firm executive with a rich history of bringing creative solutions and an entrepreneurial approach to elevating companies’ talent practices. I have successfully quantified the value talent brings to organizations and led strategies that resulted in “Best Places To Work” designations for my clients. Some of the amazing companies I have worked with over my 19-year career range from giants like Accenture, Cisco, Comcast, Mercedes-Benz, BASF, UNIQLO and Walgreens to small but mighty organizations like Grubhub, Arity (an Allstate tech spin off), IDEO, Farmer&#x27;s Fridge, and the NBA’s Orlando Magic. Today, I am leading a movement that aims to make organizations more people-centric through the power of design thinking. I’ve earned my design thinking chops through IDEO and LUMA Institute certifications and am an instructor in Northwestern University’s Master’s in Learning &amp; Organizational Change program where we explore how design thinking might be applied to innovation in organizational effectiveness.</p>
