About this event

Level 1 Salsa Class | On1

Join us every Monday for our Level 1 Salsa class, perfect for beginners eager to dive into the world of Latin dance! Whether you've never stepped foot on the dance floor or have taken a few classes, this class is designed to enhance your skills. Learn fundamental steps, master music and timing, explore partner work, basic turns, patterns, and groove with musicality. Get ready to move and groove with us!

In partner dancing, there are two roles: The lead and the follow. The lead role guides the movements, while the follow role responds. These roles aren't gender-specific, allowing anyone to lead or follow regardless of gender.

Where do I park for free 2-hr parking?

Park at Exeter St Garage (650 S Exeter St) for your dance class. Follow "MAC" signs to park near elevators. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, check in, and proceed to the energy studio. Enjoy 2 hours of free parking.

Do I need to bring a dance partner?

No. We will be rotating partners throughout class to give you experience dancing with different people.

What shoes should I wear?
