Pre-K: Initial Training

Overview

Letterland's Pre-K Initial training introduces teachers to the Early Years Handbook and Pre-K Pack.

Using the Pre-K curriculum, participants will explore Letterland’s multisensory and child-friendly teaching approach.

Instructional Objectives

  • Introduction to the Letterland characters.
  • Introduction to actions, songs, charts, and rhymes linked to sound and shape (upper and lower case).
  • Introduction to phonemic and phonological awareness.
  • Vocabulary development.
  • Development of speaking and listening skills.

How is the training delivered?

This training is face-to-face, please make sure you arrive at the location at least 15 mins before the session is due to start.

After the training, all participants will receive a Letterland Certificate of Completion (4 hours). As School districts have different requirements, you should check with your district to ensure this will count towards your professional development hours.

What materials do I need?

You will require your Early Years Handbook for this training.

If you have any questions about the content of this training, please email ustraining@letterland.com.
