Who will be designing and facilitating this conversation and what are their qualifications?

Accepted Answer

The SASM team has a breadth and depth of experience facilitating conversations about identity development, allyship, and specifically, white adjacency. We are a team of psychologists, DEI practitioners, and educators who are working collectively to curate this interactive educational experience.

Question 2

Why is there a fee for this event?

Accepted Answer

SASM is a 100% voluntary organization and to fulfill our mission of encouraging philanthropy, proceeds from our events are donated to a local non-profit.  However, because we need to hire a lawyer to help us get 5013C status, proceeds from this event will be retained by SASM for lawyer fees.

Question 3

What if I cannot afford the fee for this  ticket?

Accepted Answer

No one will be turned away due to financial reasons. If you are unable to pay the ticket, please email southasiansolidaritymovement@gmail.com and we will work something out!
