What You Can Expect: <ul><li>A dynamic panel discussion with Black women who are leaders in Diversity &amp; Inclusion, Business Strategy, and Talent Acquisition.</li><li>Group activity to help you define your career development plan and network with other like-minded women </li><li>Brunch and Mimosas! </li></ul>A﻿bout Our Speakers: <ul><li>K﻿eynote : Sonya Jenkins-Gray- Director of Personnel - Office of Mayor Tishaura Jones - City of St. Louis - Mrs. Jenkins-Gray is a seasoned HR professional who has held various executive roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer for CareSTL and Vice President of HR for the Washington Nationals baseball team. She was most recently hired by Mayor Tishaura Jones to be the Director of Personnel for the City of St. Louis. During this event, Mrs. Jenkins-Gray will deliver a compelling message on what is equitable pay, why it&#x27;s necessary for women, and what it means for our legacy.</li></ul><ul><li>D﻿esiree Coleman-Fry - Executive Leader in Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity. A dynamic and award-winning DEI speaker, Desiree has received countless accolades and recognition for her ability to connect facts with real experiences and deliver a message that will surely hit home for our audience. </li></ul><ul><li>C﻿ybrina Cooper - Talent Acquisition Expert. Cybrina currently works as a thought-leader and resident expert on how to attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent. A key component of her work is understanding the competitive landscape in the job market and how to stand out as a candidate. During this event, Cybrina will share key tactics on salary negotiation and how women of color can gain more confidence in asking for what they want. </li></ul><ul><li>K﻿ristin Mosley - Executive Leader in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, &amp; Belonging. Kristin is a sought after DEI leader who has developed a unique ability for strategic thinking and a true passion for seeing the humanity in others to form an environment of inclusivity. She has served in DEI roles in an array of industries and will be sharing her perspective on how we can close the wage gap collectively while still advocating for ourselves individually. </li></ul><ul><li>Dr. Nikki Smith - Creator and Host. Dr. Nikki is a community and business leader who is passionate about career development. As the ongoing pandemic and economic turbulence continue to widen the wage gap for women, Dr. Nikki saw an opportunity to create a space to talk transparently about equitable pay and why we must demand it. </li></ul>What You&#x27;ll Get Out Of It: Guests will walk away with an understanding of the current wage gap amongst women of color, what is pay equity, and what steps can we take to achieve equitable pay within our respective roles. With finances being such an intimate topic, this space will provide a safe space to speak freely to discuss obstacles in our way, how it has impacted us both individually and collectively, and how those obstacles can be overcome. Each guest will also have time in the workshop to develop their own career development plans with the help of our panelists.
