LET’S TALK HARTLEPOOL

Following the strong turnout and thoughtful contributions at our first Let’s Talk Hartlepool event, Jonathan Brash MP is inviting residents to join our next community conversation - with a new format shaped directly by public feedback.

Many residents told us they wanted:

• a more relaxed atmosphere
• more opportunity for genuine discussion
• less “public speaking”
• more direct conversation with Jonathan and others in the room

This event has been redesigned with that feedback in mind.

What’s different about this event:

• Conversation-led table format
  Instead of traditional theatre-style seating, residents will sit at tables in smaller groups to encourage more open, comfortable discussion.
• More opportunity to take part
  The evening will focus less on speeches and more on conversation, giving more people the chance to share experiences, ideas, and concerns.
• Smaller-group discussions with Jonathan
  Jonathan will move between tables throughout the evening, speaking directly with residents in a more personal and informal setting.
• Open discussion alongside written questions
  There will still be opportunities for wider Q&A and open-floor discussion, while written questions can also be submitted for those who prefer not to speak publicly.
• Helping shape future events
  This session will also help shape the future direction of Let’s Talk Hartlepool, with more events planned in community venues across the town in the months ahead.

The aim is simple: to create a welcoming, respectful space where people from across Hartlepool can come together to discuss the issues affecting our town and country - and ensure more voices are part of the conversation.
