Do I need to book a ticket?

Yes. Booking is required to attend this event. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Entry will NOT be permitted without prior booking ahead of the event.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 6:45pm for registration and refreshments, with the event starting promptly at 7:00pm and finishing at 8:30pm.

How can I ask a question?

You’ll have two options:

Ask in person: Raise your hand during the open Q&A.

Submit in writing: When you arrive, you’ll be given a question card — you can jot down your question and place it in the box at registration. The moderator will select a mix of questions to read out during the discussion,

Will there be a chance to raise private or personal issues?

Yes. A casework desk will be open throughout the evening. If you’d like to discuss a personal matter or seek help with a specific issue, members of Jonathan’s team will be available to speak with you privately and begin follow-up.

Is the venue accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The event space and adjacent rooms are fully accessible, with step-free access and accessible toilets available. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific access requirements so we can make suitable arrangements.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes — but please ensure each person books their own ticket so we can manage numbers and seating.

Who can attend?

This event is open to all Hartlepool residents who’d like to share their views, ask questions, or raise local issues.

What security measures will be in place?

Accepted Answer

To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, security staff and local police officers will be present throughout the event.

Large bags or bulky items should not be brought to the event.

All bags will be subject to search upon arrival.
