About this event

This virtual community conversation will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in partnership with various faith-based, academic, and community organizations, the Office of the Governor, and the Departments of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), and Children and Families (DCF).

The purpose of this event is to engage in dialogue on equity, develop recommendations for local and larger systems improvements, and to build and bridge community alliances. The agenda for the evening includes brief remarks by the Commissioners from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Department of Children and Families. The event will include conversation starters facilitating a dialogue with Black and Brown Males Ages 12-22 regarding the Public Health Crisis, COVID-19, and Racism.

A Zoom link will be sent to the registered email on file prior to the event (for registration, please ensure the email is correct and a number is listed in case we need to contact you for a correct email address). The deadline for registration is Tuesday, April 27 at noon. We look forward to having a productive dialogue!
