About this event

  • 2 hours

Come and learn how to play the ukulele in five fun, active, and educational classes! Great for beginner musicians - no previous experience required.

In each 2-hour class I will teach your child about their instrument, how to care for it, how to tune it, and how to play the three fundamental chords that will allow them to play many of their favorite songs. Students will learn how to read a chord chart and a lead sheet so that they can work towards learning new chords and songs on their own once the week is finished. The games we will play and exercises we will do will help your student learn how to be a part of a musical ensemble - an important skill for any ukuleleist!

Tuition - $200 per student - includes Let's Say Aloha! student book* and a snack

All students must have their own instrument for this class. If your student needs one, please add an instrument pack (ukulele, padded case, tuner, strap, and extra strings) for an additional $50.

*CD or MP3 downloads of music available to purchase separately
