The National Book awards have been recognizing great literature since 1950.

We will continue our journey by studying some more of the Lifetime Achievement awards.

We will read two books, but if you can only get to one that's OK. We will be reading "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" and "His Day is Done" a tribute poem to Nelson Mandela.
