About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

The National Book awards have been recognizing great literature since 1950.

We will continue our journey by studying some more of the Lifetime Achievement awards.

Up Next: Maya Angelou.

We will read two books, but if you can only get to one that's OK. We will be reading "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" and "His Day is Done" a tribute poem to Nelson Mandela.

The host will provide a presentation about the author and detailed information on books, interviews and any media that explains the depth of the chosen authirs work. Join us!
