Lets Move! Queer Artist Gathering

Let’s move, gang! This month, we will safely explore our individual and authentic movement inspired by local queer art! All 2SLGBTQIA+ artists are invited to work with art, including a piece from our open call, some suggested movement, and optional debriefing to create a container of curious art exploration. This type of movement is for all bodies, all abilities, and all movers are welcome- the more beginner the better! The hour will be seated or in your preferred position with opportunities to explore the facility or moments outside. Anna K. is a queer movement teacher with over 12 years of experience guiding folks through consent-based movement suggestions and modifications for all bodies. Wear your comfy clothes if you have them and feel free to bring along any art supplies or props you prefer to have for your practice i.e. cushion, mat, etc.. Some limited supplies will be provided and masks are required. Please fill out the Google form to register and plan to arrive between 5 and 15 minutes early to get comfortable. See you there!
