Frequently asked questions

How do I receive community service hours?

We will check you in and out from the event. Based on the time you serve, that is the number of hours you will receive. Event starts at 9AM and ends at 12PM, so you may receive up to 3 hours.

What will be provided?

Each volunteer will receive an Anti-litter kit: pair of gloves, litterstick, safety vest, and trash bags. You are also welcome to bring your own cleanup materials.

What should I wear?

Please be sure to wear long pants, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes since we may be working on a trail with poison oak. Please wear a hat to protect your head from the sun.

What else should I bring?

Bring your own full water bottle. No drinking water is available onsite. We will take a short break midway through the cleanup to be sure you hydrate. Bring your favorite snack and sunblock.

Organized by

We host events to get people engaged and outside to learn or help the creek through creek and trail cleanups, community science projects, restoration events, weeding parties, and recreational activities.
