About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Join us to amplify community-driven efforts addressing climate solutions related to energy, food systems(i.e. farm to table, nutritional diets), transportation. This event will honor communities by acknowledging and celebrating strengths and climate work, identify priorities for community-driven actions through guided conversations, and detemine next steps for advancing forward together with tangible solutions.

Along with meeting community members inspired to make a positive difference, there will be other benefits for attending:

  • Opportunity drawings for prizes

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free, ADA accessible parking in the connected lot.

How can I get there using public transportation?

The library is located on the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley and MTS Bus Routes 906 and 907.

Are there accommodations available for different language speakers?

Yes. This meeting will be hosted in English with written materials and interpretation in alternative languages available upon request at least 72 hours in advance. Please submit your requests to osej@sdcounty.ca.gov.

This event is being organized by Climate Action Campaign and The County of San Diego Office of Sustainability and Environmental Justice.

This event is open to all who want to attend, however, we would like to elevate the voices of those from Southern San Diego at this event. San Diego County has partnered with other community partners to host similar events in other areas. Find out more: osej@sdcounty.ca.gov
