About this event

Join us to amplify community-driven efforts addressing climate solutions related to air quality, food security (i.e. access, healthy soils), natural climate solutions (i.e. tree planting, green spaces, preventing erosion, addressing severe weather), and transportation. This event will honor communities by acknowledging and celebrating strengths and climate work, identifying priorities for community-driven actions through guided conversations, and detemining next steps for advancing tangible solutions forward together.

Along with meeting community members inspired to make a positive difference, there will be other benefits for attending:

This event is especially for residents, youth, and community organizations that live and work in the Central San Diego area. All are invited to engage and listen.

For disability-related accommodations, language interpretation (including American Sign Language), and written materials in alternative languages and formats are available upon request. Please submit your request at least 72 hours in advance of event to: osej@sdcounty.ca.gov.

Frequently asked questions

Where should I park?

The library has a designated parking lot to the right that is free of charge. There is also ADA parking to the left of the lot at the front of the entrance. Bike racks are directly in front of the entrance. We encourage using of public transportation the Euclid Avenue Station is across the street.

Are there accommodations available for different language speakers?

Yes. This meeting will be hosted in English with written materials and interpretation in alternative languages available upon request at least 72 hours in advance. Please submit your requests to osej@sdcounty.ca.gov.

If I have accessibility needs or dietary requirements, can you accommodate me?

Yes. Please indicate your accessibility needs and/or dietary requirements in the Eventbrite registration form. We request that you inform us of any dietary restrictions at least 72 hours in advance of the event by contacting osej@sdcounty.ca.gov

Do I have to be from Central San Diego to attend?

This event is open to all who want to attend, however, we would like to elevate the voices of those from Central San Diego at this event. San Diego County has partnered with other community partners to host similar events in other areas. Find out more: osej@sdcounty.ca.gov
