Ellen Brown, Chief sprouter at Dancing Turtle will cover everything you need to know—from simple sprouting methods to common troubleshooting tips.You’ll see a demonstration and get easy-to-follow handouts, sample a variety of delicious sprouts, and learn how to grow them safely and confidently at home. Best of all, you’ll leave class with all the supplies you need to start sprouting right away—plus seeds for your first two batches!No garden, green thumb, or prior experience required—just curiosity and an appetite for fresh food. Come sprout with us!About the InstructorEllen has been growing and cooking since age two. Raised by a gardener and drawn to the kitchen, she loves her chief job at Dancing Turtle- growing and preparing food! She aims to make healthy fresh food available year-round in the Ithaca area through her wholesale sales, farmers market booth and salad csa.Since 2008, Dancing Turtle has been rinsing, dehulling and scooping thousands of pounds of seed. Practice makes fun!
