Let's Do Our Best

Moo and A Brew LtdWidnes, England
Saturday, Apr 11 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am
Overview

A calm sharing space for parents navigating modern parenting, emotional safety, and doing their best.

Let's Do Our Best

A Calm Parenting Sharing Circle

Parenting feels different now.

We’re raising children in a world that looks nothing like the one we grew up in — with more information, more awareness, and often, more overwhelm.

This small, slow-paced sharing circle has grown from my guide, Let’s Do Our Best: Raising Secure Children in a New World, and is designed to create a gentle space for parents and caregivers to pause, reflect, and feel less alone.

This is not a lecture.
It’s not a workshop full of instructions.
And it’s not about “perfect parenting.”

It’s a safe, non-judgemental space to explore emotional safety, regulation, and the realities of modern parenting — together.

What to Expect

• A gentle grounding to begin
• A short introduction to the themes of emotional safety and regulation
• A guided reflection on our own childhood experiences
• Open (optional) sharing in a calm, supportive environment
• Practical language reframes and takeaways
• Quiet reflection time with journaling prompts

You are welcome to share, or simply sit and listen. There is no pressure.

Moo & A Brew Play Café downstairs will be open during the event, making it easier for partners or other caregivers to enjoy the café and play space with little ones while you take time to attend upstairs.

Who It’s For

This circle is for parents and caregivers who:

• Feel parenting can be overwhelming
• Are trying to unlearn old patterns
• Want calmer, research-aware approaches
• Need reassurance that they’re not failing

Whether you’ve read the guide or not, you are completely welcome.

Limited spaces to keep the group intimate.

A Final Note

This is about connection over control.
Regulation before reasoning.
And doing our best, together.

A calm sharing space for parents navigating modern parenting, emotional safety, and doing their best.
