Child & Youth Program - California National Guard

Let's Cook and Create 
 
This no parent’s allowed one night camp will be hosted for 20 National Guard youth aged 6 to 12. The event will be held at Rigatoni & Robots located in Bakersfield. The programming will entail participation in the following: 
(1) STEM-Tech lab rotation with individual IPADS and OSMO Monster Art & OSMO Coding tech program.
 (2) Culinary programming where each participate will work in their own kitchen station and make a chocolate mousse cream pie, which they will be able to take home. 
(3) Engineering programming through Gravity Maze Engineering Logic Games.
 (4) Robotics Lab; each participate will build their own motorized doodling robot, which they will also take home. 
Skills practiced throughout the evening will include, critical thinking, creativity, measurement, listening, awareness of five senses, social and problem solving skills.
