Course Overview:
Facilitated by Dylan Hillock, LMFT-C, this In-Person 4-week course is based on the Gottman Institute’s Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work but adapted for singles seeking to build healthier relationships. The program will provide research-based insights into relationship dynamics, self-awareness, and intentional dating.
Class Breakdown & Tentative Dates:
Each class will be around 1.5 hours and will include psychoeducation, interactive exercises, and group discussions.
- Class 1: Introduction to Gottman’s Research & Relationship Myths / Understanding Your Love Maps & Relationship Readiness – May 1st
- Class 2: The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Dating / The Sound Relationship House & Communication Strategies – May 8th
- Class 3: Navigating Conflict & Red Flags / Building Connection & Lasting Compatibility – May 15th
- Class 4: Creating a Relationship Vision & Final Reflections – May 22nd
