The mission of Loop Coding Center is to improve the diversity gap in the tech field by exposing underrepresented students to the digital ecosystem through tech-education programs and we envision our students using coding and technical skills as tools to shape their communities.

COVID-19 has led to schools closing across the nation and we have decided to take a step forward to do for the first-time online workshops.

Since we are not able to have in person workshops, we will be using the power of YouTube, and Facebook Live to bring Virtual workshops for all students that want to learn how to code. What you will learn:[ Join our hour long stream to ] Learn how to count and write a message in binary. Build secret messages to friends and find out why computers count in 1&#x27;s and 0&#x27;s.When: Tuesday, March 24, 11:00am - 12:00pmWhere: Online via You Tube, Facebook LiveWho: Middle School StudentsPrerequisites: None! Beginners are welcome!We will provide laptops for student who need them, and can either drop them off or parents can arrange a pick up time.
