The Art Studio was opened in November 2021 as an Educational Space, in conjunction with the Art Through Experience Digital Immersive Exhibit series. Located on the Second Floor of the Leo, the Art Studio offers a robust and versatile roster of hands-on experiences. Guests can expect to engage with activities across the full spectrum of visual arts practices. Educational Facilitators assist guests, run guided activities, and bring Family Art Saturday to curious visitors every weekend. The Leo Art Studio is also home to our Artist Residency program in partnership with Artes de México Utah, fostering connections between local artists and our community visitors.

Into the Mind of Artificial Intelligence opened January 26th, 2024. This new exhibit is an immersive experience exploring the realm of artificial intelligence. The show consists of a 40 minute video projected onto the walls and floors of the space. The story is a mix of education and entertainment, told from the perspective of AI as it gains sentience. After the show, students will be able to explore artificial intelligence and robotic technology through several iterative displays and work stations. Recommended for students in 4th grade or older.
