Leonardo da Vinci: Lecture and Film Leonardo: The Works

Join us for an evening of Leonardo da Vinci as you’ve never seen him before. The evening starts with a reception and lecture in The Paramount Theater Balcony Lounge by Associate Professor Lisa Reilly, UVA’s Department of Architectural History & McIntire Department of Art.

We will proceed to The Paramount Theater for the film Exhibition on Screen – Leonardo: The Works in which every attributed Leonardo painting and drawing is featured in Ultra HD quality. The film also looks afresh at Leonardo’s life – his inventiveness, his sculptural skills, his military foresight, and his ability to navigate the treacherous politics of the day – through the prism of his art. To be released on the 500th anniversary of his death, this is the definitive film about Leonardo: the first to tell the whole story.

This event is #open to all alumni, parents, and friends.
