Lego Robotics (Introductory Level) – Sumobots

Description:
Students will learn about building robots using LEGO EV3 control bricks, labview programming, sensors, and lego parts. Students work in teams of two to grow their knowledge each day while they build working SumoBots. Final project is a working SumoBot that can autonomously locate and drive towards its opposing SumoBot in order to push it off of the playing field. On Friday parents and families are invited to come to STEAM Junction during the last half of camp to watch a friendly round-robin competition between teams. This is the same Sumobot workshop that STEAM Junction has offered for the last two summers.
