Honolulu Civil Beat + Common Cause

On March 21, Civil Beat hosts Civil Café: Legislative Update 2018 in partnership with <A HREF="http://www.commoncause.org/states/hawaii/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Common Cause Hawaii</A>. This panel discussion moderated by Civil Beat’s politics and opinions editor, Chad Blair, will focus on the bills that have failed and those that have survived first crossover and why. Learn how to get involved at this point in the legislative process and the best way to stay informed for the duration of the 2018 session.

This event takes place in Downtown at the Hawaii State Capitol, Room 329. So bring your lunch and join us at 415 South Beretania Street. We’ll provide complimentary coffee and water, as well as some cookies for dessert.
There are a limited number of metered parking stalls in the State Capitol underground parking garage (accessible via Miller Street off of Punchbowl Street).
