Why choose Legend Race?because we are local, affordable, and we will give you the big OCR event as any of the other major competitor out there.Our competitive waves are designed to challenge even the fiercest OCR athlete. All obstacles for these 2 waves are mandatory completion. Think you got what it takes, then put it all on the line, you will not only get a T-shirt and medal at the end but those that are still wearing their band at the end, will have a little extra pride to show off , only if you can complete every obstacle, if not you will have to forfeit it. You can attempt the obstacle as many times as you like.The competitive heats are $10 more.Don’t feel like your ready for that, no worries. Join in on the experience of what OCR is all about, the sense of accomplishment & camaraderie. Challenging yourself or just coming out with your friends to see what you can do. That is what all the other waves are about. Summer: Bringing the Heat! Sept 15th is our final event of the year and the most challenging to date. So what are you in for? A grueling 4 miles with over 30 obstacles...and of course mandatory completion for the competitive heat. This will be the toughest NC locally owned OCR! This course is specially designed to challenge the fiercest OCR competitor. ​
LEGEND OCR is North Carolina’s toughest obstacle course race. Our course is specifcally designed to test your mental grit and physical fortitude. We have partnered with Raleigh Police Dept to give a portion of our proceeds to Special Olympics of NC 
North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run serves as the GUARDIANS of the eternal ‘Flame of Hope’ and dedicate themselves to the purpose of supporting North Carolina’s Special Olympics athletes, who through their involvement in Special Olympics, show the community the true meaning of sport and that there are no limits to human potential.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. ID required. You need to be 16 years of age or older to participate. 
 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is $10 per vehicle. Cash only for parking.  We encourage you to carpool. 
 
What can I bring into the event?
Bugspray, Towel, Change of clothes and a lawn chair to relax in after the race.

What's the refund policy?
No Refunds!!!
What Not to Bring
Pets, Firearms or alcohol are not allowed on the premises. Please leave your pets at home and NOT in your car while you are at the event. If you do we will contact the police dept.
