The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential rock bands of all time, pioneering a raw, blues-based sound with classic hits like “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction," “Paint It Black," “Honky Tonk Women," and “Gimme Shelter.” Their rebellious image and musical evolution have cemented their status as rock legends.

In this exciting lecture, Gary Wenstrup will take you on a deep dive into the band's history, using performance and interview video clips that capture the essence of the very definition of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll!

After a rewarding career in advertising sales, Gary developed courses on iconic bands such as The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and Motown for the Continuing Education Department at the College of DuPage. He has lectured at over 200 libraries on various music-related topics and co-hosts the popular podcast Classic Rock Album Olympics.
