About this event

  • 1 hour

Join Conservancy biologist Ian Easterling to better understand the effects of the invasive Burmese python in the Everglades ecosystem. Since its inception in 2013, the Conservancy's python program has been able to remove adult pythons weighing in at over a combined 26 thousand pounds, with Florida's largest specimen measuring up at an astounding 215 pounds and nearly 18 feet. Hear about research results from a ten-year tracking study on pythons and learn how you can assist the Conservancy’s ongoing efforts to document and remove invasive species in Collier County.

No ticket required. There is no attendance cap, but the new Eventbrite ticketing system is showing a cap at 25 attendees.
