On this page you can get FREE tickets to participate in the parade, man a table at the festival, and/or sell food at the festival. Tickets are essential so that we know how many parade participants and vendors will be part of the event. There is also a "ticket" for supporting the event with a donation. When and where do I check in for the parade?

Check-in starts at 6:00 PM (location change details will be sent later.)

What restrictions are there for the parade?

The following are prohibited: smoking or alcoholic beverages; weapons, firearms, firecrackers, silly string, or confetti; political floats, political party/candidate/issue signs (elected officials can walk or ride); throwing of candy or other items; entries should reflect good taste.

What are the vehicle / driver requirements?

All drivers must possess a valid driver’s license and liability insurance. Drivers must have 180-degree forward vision. Vehicle exhaust system must extend beyond float decorations so drivers and riders are not exposed to carbon monoxide.

What are the parade requirements?

All participants must register by getting a free ticket here or coordinating directly with the NAACP. Complete registration by filling out a registration form (link provided with event confirmation). All entrants must march in their assigned positions. Entries must maintain the parade's pace.

What is required to be a non-food vendor?

All vendors/tables must register by getting a free ticket here or coordinating directly with the NAACP. Complete registration by filling out a registration form (link provided with event confirmation) and city licensing as applicable. Vendors subject to same general rules as parade participants.

What is required to be a food vendor?
