Learning Your Way - Fall 2022

Formed Families Forward provides training, consultation, and other supports to northern Virginia foster, adoptive and kinship families raising children, youth and young adults who have special needs. Most events and services are provided free of charge to families.

Formed Families Forward

An online, self-paced course platform offering free content on special education foundations, collaboration and communication, and trauma.

Registration for the fall offering of Formed Families Forward&#x27;s very own online learning course platform is open now. Course access starts August 15 and goes through December. In addition to the Special Education 101 course offered in 2021, Learning Your Way now includes courses on Constructive Collaboration and Communication, Trauma, and Dispute Resolution!The lessons are self-paced and include presentations, videos and other resources, interactive scenarios and resource links.Best yet, the courses are free to family members and interested professionals. Participants will have access to Learning Your Way from August 15 to December 31, 2022 to complete the coursework.
