About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

Calling all early childhood and early elementary educators, program leaders, and coaches!

Join us in this interactive workshop to learn why conversational turns are crucial to brain development and lay the foundation for language and literacy skill development. Explore ways to use data and research in your classroom to improve child outcomes in many domains. We’ll also explore how these insights align with PK-3 literacy instruction, early learning standards, and assessments, including how conversational turns connect to language comprehension, vocabulary development, and early fluency skills.

Presented by: Charlotte Johnson, M.Ed., Statewide Manager at LENA and Morgan Mason, Professional Learning Specialist at Keep Indiana Learning
