Aperçu

Join us for an online workshop to learn about autism, its etiology, & how different cultures view or perceive autism and other disabilities.

CDA has partnered up with San Diego Regional Center to bring a workshop filled with information about autism and other disabilities from different cultural stand points.

This workshop will provide you with information about autism, its etiology and how different cultures view or perceive autism and other disabilities. While Western cultures have made progress in understanding autism as a neurodevelopmental disorder and embracing neurodiversity, stigma unfortunately persists, deeply impacting autistic individuals and their families. Join us and engage in important discussions around community, stigma, acceptance and inclusion.
